Swedish alternative rock band Sweet Teeth are set to release their debut EP Acid Rain July 30.
Made up of vocalist Andreas Axelson, bassist Joona Hassinen, guitarist Andreas Sjöberg and percussionist Joakim Öhlund, Sweet Teeth are familiar with the alt rock scene.
With the group’s four members hailing from prominent Swedish bands such as Dollhouse, Year of the Goat, The Deadbeats, and Disfear, the group stand apart from the crowd- with their diverse musical backgrounds helping to create Sweet Teeth’s bittersweet musical styling.
Channeling their small town, slow-paced countryside upbringing and combining it with hard-hitting guitar, Sweet Teeth have created a sound that is best of both worlds. That’s why you may hear melodic tunes reminiscent of the 90s intertwined with in-your-face but poetic lyrics.
The best way to describe Sweet Teeth’s sound is straightforward and honest.
The band have released two singles from the EP already, title track “Acid Rain” and “Is There A Cure”, in total the EP will hold 7 songs of catchy, punky, power-pop and alternative rock tracks filled with plenty of energy and heartwarming honesty.
You can stream both of these singles out now, and be sure to stay tuned for the full EP, Acid Rain out July 30.
