It’s a great day for fans of both The Maine and Twin XL.

The electronic trio has officially announced that they will be joining The Maine as the first billed supporting act for their fall tour, alongside “special guests” to be announced.

This announcement comes one week after The Maine announced their upcoming tour “The Mirror,” which will be their first “You Are Okay” album support tour.

The 27 show run starts in late October in Texas, and ends in the band’s hometown of Phoenix, Arizona on November 30th.

This support announcement also comes two weeks after The Maine faced backlash from fans after BandsinTown leaked their tour dates and lineup, which included rock band The Wrecks as direct support.

Fans quickly pointed out that The Wrecks were the center of various controversies and had a history of making fans feel uncomfortable.

Neither The Maine or Twin XL have commented on The Wrecks inclusion in the tour or their apparent removal, but prior to today’s announcement Wrecks’ frontman Nick Anderson spoke out against fans who believed they should be taken off of any tours.

You can catch The Maine and Twin XL when they hit Boston on November 5th at the Royale.
