A perfect track for the hottest day of the week – TwinXL are back with their brand new single “Melt.”

The track, which the band debuted live back in November on their tour with The Maine, is an electro-dream pop song all about falling in love and losing yourself because of it.

The second release since the band’s 2019 EP “How To Talk To Strangers,” “Melt” channels the vibe of their debut track “Good” – just with more drugs and uncertainty involved.

In an interview with RockSound, singer Cameron Walker shared that the track was about losing yourself in a relationship to the point that you aren’t sure who you are anymore.

Melt is about how much we lose ourselves in other people during relationships. We almost become unrecognizable. It’s about being so enamored with someone that they can do absolutely no wrong.

“One of my favorite lines in the song is “kiss all of my friends goodbye” – I’m the type of person that for better or worse, when I fall into a relationship, I sort of fall off the face of the earth and my friends are texting me like “are you alive??
