2020 may be the year of no live music as the industry suffers from the Coronavirus pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped some of our favorite artists from keeping us satisfied with the release of new singles, albums, and a plethora of new content that helps fill the void of our concert less year.

And one such band who has kept fan’s thirst quenched is New York’s own Young Culture.

With just over one week until release of their debut full length album, the band are still helping turn 2020 around by giving fans new singles to jam out to. The latest being this week’s “Hailey Beverly 2016.”

Released Tuesday to streaming services, “Hailey Beverly 2016” is a song about reminiscing on the past and confessing your feelings to a former love turned somewhat stranger.

Heavily emphasizing the fact it is Hailey’s “move,” the track starts off as a soft spoken ballad before picking up the tempo and sampling some hip-hop inspired beats in the second verse. Helping to get listeners bouncing and singing along, the song then features some classic YC pop punk influence as the guitars pick up and add a bit of extra flair during the last verse.

“Hailey Beverley 2016” is the fourth single to be released off of Young Culture’s self titled album, which drops October 16, and features previously released tracks “I’ll Be There,” “Holiday In Vegas,” and “Better Off As Friends.”

In addition to the new song, the band also recently announced their socially distanced pop up shop, taking place on the 16th alongside their album release where fans can purchase exclusive merchandise, new vinyl variants and participate in a meet and greet.

Tickets to attend the event are free, but are being distributed in a first come first serve system and offered in limited quantities to help maintain social distancing and safety precautions. Masks will be required and temperatures of all attendees will be taken.

You can register for the event here, and be sure to stream “Hailey Beverly 2016” now, wherever you stream music, and be sure to stay tuned next Friday for the official release of Young Culture.
