Fresh off of the release of her debut album as well as a live Audiotree session recording, rising grunge-pop artist Chloë Drallos- professionally known as Zilched- is giving new life to her music with the release of a brand new video.

A self directed and artistic challenge, Zilched has just given fans a visual to accompany “The Knife,” the latest single off of October’s DOOMPOP.

Written about the all encompassing feelings that come with loving someone new and the eventual heartbreak that comes with a breakup, “The Knife” shares the emotional toll relationships can have on you in a grunge inspired pop tune.

In order to best replicate this lyrical inspiration in a visual, Zilched recruited dancer Morgan McCaul to help put her words into movement.

“The Knife’ is love/hate,” Zilched shares. “I wanted the video, with dancing improvised by Morgan McCaul, to visualize an inner monologue, where those different emotional powers start to take over and ultimately lead to release of that power.”
